The AAP Government will table its annual Budget on March 28 in the Delhi Assembly, with health and education set to get priority in allocations.
The House will meet only for five days as a number of holidays fall during the Budget Session — which will be held from March 22 to 31.
On the first day, lt Governor Najeeb Jung will address the House. According to Press statement issued by the Delhi Assembly, annual Budget would be presented on March 28.
This means Economic Surveys of Delhi would not be tabled in the House this time. This would be probably first occasion of Delhi Assembly session when the Government would not table Economic Survey of Delhi. Besides, this would be probably most short duration of the Budget session of Delhi Assembly.
According to sources, it is also not clear that whether any Bill would be tabled in the House or not. Between March 22 and 31, there are five holidays.
