The Delhi High Court is likely to hear the nursery admission matter on Thursday. On Friday, the court refused to vacate the stay on nursery admissions on vacant seats in the Capital’s private schools as requested by the Delhi Government. The matter was listed for April 02.
On last of hearing, a Division Bench of Justice BD Ahmed and Justice Siddharth Mridul asked the parents and the Government to give their respective suggestions regarding the admissions by the next date. The Bench observed that it had no problem in opening the admissions but it had to see that no one’s fundamental rights were violated. Earlier, the Court had also directed the Directorate of Education to upload the details regarding the nursery admission on its website.
