The Delhi High Court has issued an appearance notice to the lawyer accused in a molestation case filed against him by a lady judge. Practicing in Karkardooma court, the lawyer has also registered a complaint with the Delhi Police stating that the molestation case filed by the woman judge is “false” and she “misused” her power to get an FIR registered against him.
He also requested police to file a closure report in the matter. The High Court will now hear the matter on December 7.
In his complaint, Sanjay Rathod had said the complaint made by the judge is malafide and fabricated. The case for which he appeared before her was adjourned as per the order sheet but yet she imposed a fine on her client which was out of question, he said in his complaint.
He also alleged that the police registered an FIR under pressure of the woman judge.
The incident took place on October 30 where the woman judge was allegedly sexually harassed by a lawyer on Karkardooma district courts complex.
