Three students were injured in a clash that broke out between two groups over holding an event on the death anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh at Delhi University on Sunday. Police, however, did not register any case as no complaint was given to them but detained two outsiders.
According to police, the two groups of students from ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) and KYS (Krantikari Yuva Morcha) had organised separate events at the same place near the law faculty.
The clash broke when a student from one group objected the other for holding banners at the same place. The students thrashed each other and also pelted stone. A team from the local police immediately rushed to the spot and managed to disperse them by using a mild fore.
