In a yet another instance of transportation of a human organ to save a life, the Delhi Traffic Police provided a “Green corridor” to transport a human liver from T3 terminal of Delhi Airport to Institute of liver and Biliary disease at Vasant Kunj in a record 11 minutes.
The route taken was T3- Mehrauli Mahipalpul Road-Ryan International School-Masoodpur, Vasant Kuni Road. The liver was brought from lucknow. Traffic Police ensured that there are no obstructions/traffic jams. “We are happy to contribute in the noble cause of saving a life,” said Muktesh Chander, Special Commissioner of Police Traffic.
