The Delhi Government is organising summer camps in over 1,000 schools for the students of Class VI with an aim to improve their learning skills. last year, the 551 camps were organised in the Delhi Government schools, in which around 50,000 students had participated. The summer camp for children entering class 6 began Thursday in 1,024 schools and will continue its fight till June 3.
For the first time last year, the Government had conducted summer camps in its 551 schools. “Summer camps were brought in last year to help children coming in from other schools to cope with the new academic rigour as well as the environment.
