Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari has rapped Delhi Jal Board (DJB) for supplying contaminated water to the people. Tiwari alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government is supplying “kala pani” through the water taps of DJB in the name of drinking water and as a result there is danger to the lives of more than 1.5 crore people. Delhi BJP workers will protest against AAP on water crisis in Delhi and a BJP delegation will meet lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
“Drinking water is essential for every human being and getting the supply of drinking water is the fundamental right of every citizen, but under the Kejriwal Government's rule, which has failed in providing reliable public transport & health services, free wi-fi services, people are facing crisis of drinking water due to criminal negligence of Government,” said Tiwari.
“People of unauthorised colonies cannot think of regular supply of water, what to talk of getting drinking water. Even the people living in Central Delhi's Patel Nagar, Paharganj or South Delhi's Sangam Vihar, Kalkaji, Bijwasan, North and East Delhi's Wazirabad, Jahangirpuri, Burari, Karawal Nagar, Mustafabad are facing acute shortage of water,” he added.
