Criticising Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kumar for stopping grants to 28 Delhi University colleges, BJP State president Manoj Tiwari has said that the
Government has lost respect for the autonomy of Delhi University.
Tiwari said “The teaching process in 28 colleges will collapse within next few days which can jeopardize careers of lakhs of students and over 2000 teaching
and non teaching staff. The Government in its letter to the Registrar has said that funds will not be released till DU accepts Government’s proposal on constitution of governing bodies.”
