Member of Parliament of East Delhi parliamentary constituency Maheish Girri on Wednesday inaugurated a Senior Secondary Government School in Madanpur Khadar, Okhla.
“This is the third school that has started under my tenure. All this is an attempt of developing Okhla that has remained to be one of the least developed zones. Under the general public interest initiatives like development of the long-delayed Sarita Vihar underpass has been taken up. For this, I have been pursuing the matter with the l-G to ensure speedy completion,” said Girri. In the last two months, Girri had laid foundation stone of two more schools in Okhla — Madanpur Khadar and another in JJ Colony.
