Gate numbers 5 and 6 of the Kashmere Gate Metro Station will remain closed from May 15 for the construction of a new underground station for the Central Secretariat-Kashmere Gate corridor of Phase-III.
“Entry/Exit gate number five and six of the Kashmere Gate Metro Station (adjoining the Shahdara Flyover) will be closed from May 15 for construction of an upcoming new underground Metro station at Kashmere Gate on the Central Secretariat- Kashmere Gate corridor of Phase- III,” a DMRC spokesperson said.
The escalator has already been shifted from gate number six to gate number three and signages have been provided at the station for benefit of commuters and general public, the spokesperson added.
