A woman was killed when alleged gangsters, who instead of her son shot her at Naharpur village in Gurugram.
Police said the woman was shot on the night of Saturday at her home when a couple of gangsters, who had come to meet her son Johnny Hans allegedly whipped out pistols to shoot him but instead killed his mother.
A complaint was lodged in Gurugram Sadar police station by Johnny. A case of murder has been registered by the police under various Sections of the IPC.
In his complaint to police, Johnny said that he was called by a youth named Sanjeet to discuss a matter. “As such he sat in his car and went to meet them where his aide named Amit Dagar of Palwal, Chand and Ranveer Saini accosted him to his house.”
“The accused, including Sanjeet first asked for a cup of tea but later whipped out guns and started shooting at him. In the melee, a number of bullets hit his mother Sudesh (45) who was grievously injured.” She later succumbed to her injuries. Police said that this appears to be s case of gang war and investigation is being carried out.
