A new administrative tower will soon be constructed in Gurugram, where all Government departments will conduct their routine work. This tower will be built in the area adjoining the Mini-Secretariat near Rajiv Chowk.
On Saturday, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Keshni Anand Arora addressed a meeting of the officers concerned in Gurugram, about the construction of this administrative tower.
In the meeting, the design and layout of this tower was discussed in detail and it was informed that along with the administrative tower, 1,500 flats will be made for the government officials and employees appointed in Gururgram.
It was shown in the layout that there would be 25 to 30 meters of roads around the administrative tower and residential towers. There will be a 3-level parking arrangement so that there will be parking arrangements for approximately 4,000 vehicles in the basement of the Administrative Tower.
Also, there is a proposal to make a women police station in about 2,000 square yards and a club or community centre will also be built. Apart from this, some areas will also be for Commercial / Continental shopping. In the layout of the Administrative Tower, it is shown as 15 floors but the architect says it is likely to go higher.
"We have formed a committee that will compile a layout plan for the building. The plan will include allocating spaces for parking space, residential areas for officials and staff, community centres, HRERA Bhawan, the building area of Excise and Taxation Department and the routes leading to the tower," said the official spokesperson of the district administration.
In this committee, besides the SDM of Gurugram North, District Revenue Officer and representatives of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will be involved.
A senior district official said the Admin tower will be built in which all government departments will be shifted so that people do not have any difficulty in getting their works done.
