Four men were arrested and banned drugs, including 21 kilo heroin and nine kilo crude methamphetamine with market value of around Rs 100 crore was recovered from them by the Special Cell of Delhi Police.
The arrested gang was part of a trans-national drug cartel involved in mass trafficking of high value narcotics across Kuwait, Dubai, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri lanka and India. “last Tuesday, Mohd Sajid Zubair of Mumbai and Noushad Abdul Rahiman of Kerala were arrested from Sarai Kale Khan area. They had concealed the drugs in their clothes,” said an official.
