Besides shifting to his new official bungalow at Mathura Road on Monday, Sisodia has also started using the SUV. The bungalow was in possession of Dikshit till 2004 before she moved to a bigger accommodation in lutyen’s Zone, which is now occupied by former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.

According to sources, the Deputy Chief Minister has started using her luxury car, which was reportedly purchased for about `20 lakh a few years ago. The white car had been lying idle ever since Dikshit resigned as the Chief Minister of Delhi in 2013. Till now, Sisodia had been using his Innova for official purposes.

Sources said that both the bungalow and vehicle used by Dikshit were considered lucky prompting Sisodia to want them. like Dikshit, Sisodia also prefers to sit in the front seat next to the driver, sources added.

Dikshit always considered number ‘17’ as auspicious and lucky for her. She had preferred to get bungalow having number 17 and also used Ambassador car bearing no. (0017). When Dikshit decided to switch over to a luxury car, she preferred the same number 17 for her official vehicle. The Ambassador

car was later used by her political adviser Pawan Khera. Interestingly, her principal secretary PK Tripathi had also chosen to use the vehicle bearing plates 0017 during his tenure.
