A 30-year-old fashion designer was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her residence in Sector 29 on Tuesday. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Juhi Kishore, who lived with her parents. Victim's father, Nalin Kishore, is a retired colonel from the Army.
Police claim Juhi was under depression and was undergoing medical treatment. On Monday night she had an argument with her parents and locked herself inside the room and went to sleep. On Tuesday afternoon, she had to see the doctor but she did not open the door of her room. Her parents informed the police and broke open the door to find her hanging.
Police have not recovered any suicide note from the spot, but claims she must have taken the step as she was depressed for a long time. Police have sent the body for post-mortem examination. "We have registered a case in this regard and are investigating the matter. We are questioning the family and other acquaintances," said a senior police official.
