As per data available with the Electoral Office of Delhi, these expenditure sensitive polling booths have been identified as expenditure sensitive pockets in North-West district, 19 in North-East, 21 in South, 59 in Central, 36 in South-West, 14 in East, 21 in North and 45 in New Delhi. Strangely, West is the only district where no such polling booths have been identified.
According to sources, these polling locations have been identified as where flow of liquor and black money were high during the Assembly polls in Delhi. Most of the pockets are located in slum clusters or in unauthorised colonies.
