The former Congress Municipal Councillor from Rajouri Garden, Sunita Subhash, joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday.
Saurabh Bhardwaj, the spokesperson of AAP and MLA along with MLA Jarnail Singh, welcomed her to the party. Sunita Subhash was earlier associated with the Congress Party.
Jarnail Singh said that the team led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the entire Delhi Government was working tirelessly and honestly for the people of Delhi, in order to bring relief to them.
“This is influencing all the people who want to bring about change as well as an honest system in Delhi. Hence, they are joining the family of the Aam Aadmi Party,” said Singh.
“Sunita along with her husband, Subhash Yadav and her entire family have been associated with the Congress. They have always been active, be it solving an industrial issue or any other problem. Subhash Yadav himself was with the Congress Party for a long time and occupied different posts, but today they want to become a part of the AAP. This is because they have been influenced by the honest work done by the party for the welfare of the people of the national Capital,” said Singh.
