Employees Association writes to MHA over induction of DASS officer in lower grade

Delhi Government Employees Welfare Association has written to Home Ministry seeking intervention in unlawful induction of DASS officers into entry grade of DANICS.  The association has made it clear that they would take up the issue with Chief Minister of Delhi for restructuring of the cadre.

“It is unfortunate that Chief Secretary of Delhi seems to be playing in hands of DANICS officer Association and pursuing the matter of induction in MHA knowing well that the induction of DASS officer in lower scale is absolutely wrong and unjustified,” the Delhi Government employees association said in a letter to Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

“This type of anarchist behavior of officers of the services department, Chief Secretary of Delhi and lieutenant Governor is beyond the expectation for all the citizens who believes in democracy and constitution of India,”  it said.

The Association said that restructuring of the DASS cadre is the matter of Delhi government following the directions of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has already made it clear that only matter-land, Police and Public law and Order are related to Centre.

The Association has also raised the issue of service department which has taken up one section of DASS officer for restructuring of the cadre despite the fact that it has nothing to do with it.
