The Delhi University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) on Thursday expressed its support to the teachers’ association of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University who are allegedly facing a crisis at the hands of the administration.
“Teachers of Guru Gobind Singh IP University have been fighting against a viciousness administration for a long time now. Their association has not been recognised by the Vice Chancellor and their office bearers are being continuously threatened and persecuted for arbitrary reasons. While the recently constituted teachers’ association has brought to light issues related to violation of UGC norms in teaching appointments and financial irregularities,” alleged Amar Deo Sharma, the president of DUTA.
