The much-anticipated open days conducted by Delhi University will kick off on Wednesday at the Conference Centre on North Campus. The open days, that started last year with the introduction of the four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP) will help disseminate information on various admission related aspects for those seeking admission to the undergraduate programme.
These open days will be organised on all days, except Sundays, till May 30 from 10 am to 1 pm. The Joint Dean of Student Welfare, Malay Neerav said, “All the open days — except on May 23 and 24 — will take place at the Conference Centre, opposite the Department of Botany. The entrance to the Conference Centre will only be from gate no. 4. On May 23 and 24, the open days will be held at the SP Jain Centre on South Campus at the same time. The students seeking admission can attend the open days along with their parents or guardians. They will be free to clear their doubts, if any.” In addition to that, Neerav also suggested that all those attending the open days should avoid bringing their own transport. “Those coming for the open days are sincerely advised to use public transport as parking facilities are not available near the venues. However, the Vishwavidyalaya Metro station is close to the Conference Centre, thus, commuting by Metro is advisable,” he informed.
