At that time, my sister befriended Ved Prakash. They liked each other, however, our family was against it so we shifted to Chandrawal.

“Against our wishes, my sister continued talking to Ved Prakash. last month, he broke up with her. Depressed about this, she begged him to return to her. However, he abused her and made caste-based derogatory statements. Upset, we first approached the Roop Nagar Police Station. Six days passed and when they did not do anything, on Saturday, we approached the Model Town Police Station and filed a written complaint.”

“After the break-up, Ved Prakash was threatening her. My sister was a bright student. She was pursuing BCom from School of Open learning and aspired to become a Chartered Accountant,” the brother said.
