To ensure minimum inconvenience to commuters, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is planning to run metro feeder services on six new routes and shuttle services on 16 routes. It will also engage private buses to run under DTC Paryavaran Sewa to run on its normal routes.
The new routes for metro feeder buses include Jahangir Puri Metro Station-Holambi Kalan, Shastri Park Metro Station-Karawal Nagar, Shastri Park Metro Station-Mayur Vihar Phase-3, Nehru Place Metro Station-Madan Pur Khadar JJ Colony, Kirti Nagar Metro Station-Janak Puri D-Block and Saket Metro Station-Jait Pur. Apart from these, shuttle services will also be run during the period the routes for which include lajpat Nagar-Badarpur, Sarai Kale Khan-Badarpur, Mandi House-Mayur Vihar, Mandi House-New Seema Puri, Singhu Border-Azadpur Terminal, Qutab Garh-Wazir Pur, Punjabi Bagh-Sultan Puri, Punjabi Bagh-Tikri Border, Najafgarh-Raja Garden, Mayapuri Depot-Madhu Vihar, Dhaula Kuan-Palam, Bhati Mines-SJ Terminal, Bhajan Pura-Mori Gate, Mori Gate-Anand Vihar, Nathu Pura-GTB Nagar and Najafgarh-Kapashera Border
