As the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) education model is being appreciated widely, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will discuss bilateral partnership on exchange of education with British Minister Mike Fereere in Dubai. Sisodia will represent Delhi at a three-day RewirEd Summit in Dubai tour from Saturday onwards.
According to Delhi Government officials, the Minister is likely to discuss the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum with his counterparts of Education Ministers of Estonia, Italy, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia. During his three-day tour of Dubai, Sisodia will also discuss bilateral partnership on the exchange of education between Delhi and Britain with British Minister Mike Freere.
In this conference, Education Secretary H. Rajesh Prasad, Education Director Himanshu Gupta and Higher Education Director Ranjana Deshwal will also represent Delhi.
The innovative approach adopted in the Delhi Education Model is the most important part of the Delhi Education Revolution. After preparing world class infrastructure in Delhi's Government schools, the Delhi Government worked to develop a growth mindset in children.
In this direction, 3 Mindset Curriculums- Happiness Mindset Curriculum, Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum and Deshbhakti Curriculum- were launched in Delhi's public education system.
The Happiness Curriculum was launched in 2018 in Delhi's schools. Its aim is to learn to be happy and emotionally strong. More than 10 lakh children practiced Mindfulness daily in Delhi's Government schools under the Happiness Curriculum. Even during the difficult period of Covid-19, these children practiced Mindfulness in their homes.
