Congress president Sonia Gandhi, vice president Rahul Gandhi, six party Chief Ministers and several senior leaders will be campaigning for the party in the upcoming Assembly polls. While Sonia Gandhi will address one rally, Rahul will hold two rallies, along with a roadshow, a senior party leader said.
The party is expected to intensify its campaigning from January 25 to February 5. According to sources, as many as 150 meetings are to be held ahead of the polls. Chief Ministers of Kerala, Karnataka, Assam and Uttarakhand are among the invitees for party campaigning. Congress was relegated to the third position in the last Assembly polls after 15 years in power; it won only eight seats in the 70-member Assembly.

New Delhi: Congress candidate from Greater Kailash and daughter of President Pranab Mukherjee, Sharmistha Mukherjee, on Sunday held a series of public meetings at Alakananda, CR Park, Savitri Nagar and Kailash Hills.
