The Delhi Government's free pilgrimage scheme for senior citizens is set to resume from February 14.
A train carrying senior citizens will leave for Dwarka in Gujarat on February 14 under the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana.
Another train will leave for Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu on February 16. People aged 60 and above can avail the scheme.
The resumption comes a month after the pilgrimage scheme was stopped due to a spike in Omicron cases.
On January 7, a train carrying pilgrims to Tamil Nadu’s Vailankanni Church was cancelled.
