Delhi BJP working president Virendra Sachdeva on Tuesday lashed out at the AAP’s decision to boycott the speech of Draupadi Murmu at the beginning of the budget session of Parliament.  "This has exposed the AAP’s character at the international level," the Delhi BJP said.

“Till now the AAP used to fight with the Lt. Governor in Delhi & with the officials of Delhi Government, it used to suppress the opposition in the Vidhansabha and then created ruckus in the Municipal Corporation House and gradually it became an Anarchist Party of Delhi. Today by boycotting the most important part of constitutional proceedings of the Parliament that is the address of Her Excellency the President the AAP has exposed its anarchic face at the international level,” Sachdeva said while hailing the Economic Survey report 2022-23 presented in the Parliament on Tuesday, predicting 6.4 percent growth rate in the coming year.

“When the big countries of the world are struggling with economic problems and their economies have come to a standstill the report of the Economic Survey presented in the Indian Parliament today has shown that even today India is the fastest growing economy of the world. India is a big economy of the world and the budget session of the Parliament and the speech of Her Excellency the President are watched by the media of the whole world and even today the whole world saw the Aam Aadmi Party boycotting the constitutional process,” he said.

The BJP leader said that it is clear from the Economic Survey report that came today that India is a dynamic economy even in the midst of global economic stagnation and its reflection will be seen in the budget which will be presented tomorrow.

“The result of eight years of economic reforms by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government that immediately after the Covid period today India has become the fifth largest economy in the world. If in the coming financial year 2023-24 and even after that our economy keeps growing at the rate of 6.5%. we will soon achieve the target of becoming a 5 trillion economy,” he said.
