The Delhi BJP is ready with its blueprint to strengthen the organisation and galvanise its workers ahead of the crucial Delhi Assembly polls. The party on Wednesday said its entire Central leadership, including Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj, will be addressing the workers at block level from July 19.

Though the names of lK Advani and Narendra Modi are missing, Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel said Modi will soon be holding a big rally in Delhi. Goel said the idea behind roping in the senior leaders is to guide and motivate party workers in exposing the Delhi and Union Government's performance.

"Senior leaders have been approached by the State unit for karyakarta sammelan (workers meet). To begin with, Sushma Swaraj will be addressing the workers in Narayana on Friday. later, Modi will address a rally in the Capital," said Goel. The workers' meet would be held from July 19 to August 4. The theme of these workshops is 'Majboot Sangathan, Nai Sarkar' (Strong Organisation, New Government), Goel added.

Meanwhile, as part of its electoral strategy, the BJP has formed 11,763 crack teams who would expose the performance of the Delhi Government and the UPA Government at the Centre.

"The party has divided the city into around 11,763 polling booths under 280 mandals (divisions). Each Assembly constituency has around four Municipal wards and each ward is looked after by a mandal, where a crack team of 32 members has started working full-time for the upcoming polls. Each team comprises of 12 BJP workers over 30 years of age, 12 below 30 years of age and eight women," the BJP president said.

"There are around 250 families at every polling booth. The task assigned to this 32-member team is to reach every family. Thus, every member of the team will approach around seven to eight families over the next few months and will constantly remain in touch with them convincing them how important it is to bring a change in Delhi," he added.
