Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will visit Gujarat on Friday, his second visit in a fortnight, to meet the members of the Dalit community in the wake of assaults on them after some members allegedly skinned a cow at Una last week.
AAP senior leader, Ashutosh said the party is dedicated in getting justice to the victim of Dalit families in Gujarat.
“According to my knowledge, for three hours Dalit boys were ruthlessly beaten up in Gujarat in front of their parents...the act was not carried out just by the mob but the policemen were also present at the site including the SHO. It is a serious matter. To shield this issue, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has only suspended these policemen. We demand their arrest and investigation of the incident. AAP has asked for a shut down over this and I am going there tomorrow while CM Kejriwal would arrive a day after,” Ashutosh said in a Press conference on Wednesday.
