In a sensational incident, three criminals snatched a bag containing Rs8 lakh cash and a pistol from a Greater Noida-based realtor. The incident took place in the posh area of Raj Nagar District Centre (RDC) in Ghaziabad. Incidentally the place of occurrence is not far off from the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office of Ghaziabad.
The police said that the victim identified as Parminder Shekhawat, a Greater Noida-based builder had come to Ghaziabad for some court related matter. He went inside the court premises and left his new i20 car and his driver in the RDC area. After half an hour, three persons came near the driver and one of them reportedly threw 10 rupees currency notes on the ground and alerted the driver that his notes are lying on the ground. As his attention was diverted to the notes lying on the ground, one of the criminals made off with the bag from the car.
