Residents of the urbanised villages of South Delhi are excited about the farmer’s rally to be organised on April 19. Earlier it seemed that the villages whose land had been acquired earlier, their residents would only be disappointed. But it was found out that even the residents of Mohammadpur, Munirka, Ber Sarai, Katwaria Sarai, Kishangarh, Chirag Dilli, Shahpur Jat, Adhchini etc. are outraged by the land Acquisition Bill, 2015.
Former Delhi Minister and MlA Dr Yoganand Shastri said that a lot of people had bought lands in neighbouring States after their lands in Delhi were sold off, and they even have their relatives in those places. So they are protesting the “black Bill” for the benefit of themselves and their loved ones, said Shastri. Rising above party lines, a lot of people are coming forward to protest the Bill and make the upcoming farmers rally on April 19 a successful event.
