As corona has changed the way of life, the academicians also pitched a few updations in their study patterns in schools.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia initiated dialogue with key stake holders for school education in post Covid-19-induced lockdown.
In this regard, Sisodia invited students, parents, teachers and Principals to give their suggestions for school education in post Covid-19 induced lockdown. “We have faced challenges in the past, the difference this time is that the entire world is facing it together. Soon, we will learn to live with corona. Slowly, things will open up and so will the schools. However, this also means that new ideas of schools and learning will have to be scripted,” said Sisodia.
“For decades, schools had a set pattern, standardised classes, times, way of functioning, these need to be reimagined now”, he added.
As per Directorate of Education ( DoE ) officials , as a first step to initiate this dialogue, an online suggestion form has been put on the website of the Directorate of Education, Govt.of Delhi www.edudel.nic.in. Students, teachers, principals and parents whose children are studying in school can give their inputs.
“Respondents submitting practical and out of the box suggestions will be invited to share their thoughts with the Education Minister of Delhi through online platform,” said an official.
