A special sanitation-cleanliness drive has been launched by civic bodies in the Capital ahead of the festive season. The three Corporations — North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC), East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) — launched the drive which will last till November 15, officials said.
The drive was launched from the historic Town Hall in Chandni Chowk. “The drive will lay emphasis on micro-level monitoring over day-to-day cleanliness of all areas,” NMC Commissioner PK Gupta said.
