Google India had also filed a complaint against the accused in 2012 for forgery and trademark violation.

Two First Information Reports (FIRs) dated March 9, 2016, were filed in Southwest Delhi’s Dabri area by two complainants separately revealing about the existence of a fake company that duped in the tune of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of providing them with an overseas placements.

The complainants identified as Satish Kumar (Haryana resident) and Ajay Gupta (Delhi resident) told police that while they were seeking a job, they had come to know about a placement agency in Mahendra Park area of Janakpuri that was into the business of overseas placement.

According to their complaint, Satish had come to Delhi after Ajay informed him about the said agency that can offer them a desired job with handsome salary. The duo approached the agency on December 13, 2015, where Ritika who posed as counsellor and Dinesh as the manager demanded Rs 50,000 as a registration fee and later introduced Shekhar, Pankaj and Raj as Visa Experts.

The duo alleged that their original passports, educational certificates and identity cards were also deposited at the agency that further asked them to deposit Rs3.5 lakhs each in cash for the placement.

After the duo deposited the amount they were called on December 12, 2015, where Deepak, who posed as job expert, told them that they will be sent to foreign country as a musical crew member and later they can apply for work permit residing in that country.

While the duo disapproved of the illegal way of migrating to another country and asked to return back the money, the agency befooled them by promising them to place them legally. However, when the duo visited the agency again on January 4, 2016, the agency was closed down and another banner of M/S Hand Sand board was placed.
