Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar and senior leader Jai Kishan on Thursday issued a joint statement and criticised Arvind Kejriwal for making false sympathy over farmers’ protests, saying that AAP leaders are not pro farmers. “Till a few days ago, they were blaming farmers of Punjab and Haryana for stubble burning that led to pollution in the national capital. AAP leaders have demanded to book farmers for stubble burning. Now they are started sympathize with the farmers’ protests,” Jai Kishan said in a press statement issued by the Delhi Congress.
He questioned why the Delhi government notified the farm law if they were against the law. “Kejriwal ji, if you really are farmers friendly and want the welfare of farmers then tell me why you supported this anti-farmer black bill of Modi government in your assembly on 23 November,” Jai Kishan said.
