Cong questions CM over vacant lokayukta post

Published on:

Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken has questioned Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on his Government’s inability to fill up the post of lokayukta, lying vacant since 2013. The Delhi Government by filling up the lokayukta position, could have probed various alleged irregularities including appointment of 21 parliamentary secretaries and charges of fake degrees against certain AAP MlAs, Maken said. The Delhi Congress will take out a protest march from Delhi Congress Pradesh headquarters to lokayukta office carrying an empty chair and then put it outside lokayukta office.

The leader stated that his party will file complaints with lokayukta’s office against 30 AAP legislators including CM Arvind Kejriwal and the 21 parliamentary secretaries.
