Cong loyalists question support to Aam Aadmi

A group of over 200 Congress supporters on Monday protested outside the Delhi Congress office against the party decision to extend support to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to form the Government.

The protesters who raised slogans said that Congress should reconsider its decision to support outside the Government. The Congress has lost heavily from all those States where it had supported Governments led by rival political parties. The most telling examples are West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Jammu & Kashmir and Bihar where the party has not been performed well in the elections.

Sources in Delhi Congress said that Congress supporters were from East Delhi and North East Delhi assembled in front of Delhi Pradesh Congress headquarters at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan in the evening and raised slogans against party support to Kejriwal. The protesters said that Congress leaders should not support to Kejriwal and it would be back fired. “It would be proved miscalculated move by the party leadership. The party will lost its ground once Kejriwal becomes Chief Minister of Delhi. If AAP fulfils its manifesto promises, the Congress will be finished in Delhi,” said a protester.
