Cong clearly rattled by Obama visit: BJP

Reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s acerbic attack on Prime Minister Modi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said Rahul’s criticism only shows to what extent the Congress is cut off from the reality of changes in the country.

“It clearly looks that the Congress and its leadership is rattled by the successful visit of the US President Barack Obama... A significant breakthrough has been achieved in taking forward the India-US Civil Nuclear Cooperation Agreement that has been stuck up for about six years,” said Naidu.

Defending Modi’s initiative of Jan Dhan Yojana, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister questioned whether Rahul doesn’t know that after long Congress rule at the Centre, 58 per cent of the country’s population, most of them poor, did not have bank accounts as late as in 2014.
