Delhi BJP State unit chief Manoj Tiwari and Delhi BJP in-charge Shyam Jaju attended the community wedding of the daughters of poor families on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary. Tiwari blessed the newly wed couples and wished them happy married life.
It was for the first time that wedding of daughters of poor families was seen in a lutyens Zone house at Jaju's residence.
North Delhi Mayor Preety Aggarwal also joined the wedding and blessed the couples.
These weddings were held on the occasion of Dev Uthaoni Ekadashi which is considered to be an every auspicious occasion.
The special occasion selected for the community wedding and the presence of the reputed persons made the occasion memorable. In the wedding programme five couples got married.
