It forces us to acknowledge that these are not ordinary buildings where ordinary work is done. Justice is no ordinary work.”

The book is has 223 pages which include photographs of various photigraphs of the courts. Around 20 panoramas each 24 inches wide have also been included in the book. The book also includes stories and facts about the architectures, designers and the photographers.

According to Vinay Thakur, one of the authors of the book, “To make the book around 10,000 images were taken and the best 223 images have been chosen. Our court structures are the classic pieces of history from India’s pre-independence days.

All tell us stories of rulers and Kingdoms and their outlook to art and architecture,” he said.

The co-author of the book Amogh Thakur said, “By capturing the windows, facades and carvings in my images, I want to the world take in the grandeur of the buildings that are home to our legal system.”

The book has been visualized by Justice SA Bobde and the title ‘Architecture of Justice’ has been suggested by Former Solicitor of India, Harish Salve, Thakur said.
