A senior female doctor, also a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) alleged that she has been molested and abused by the Medical Superintendent (MS) of the Delhi Government run Babu Jagjivan Ram hospital. Police said the Medical Superintendent has been identified as Dr Surender Kumar.
Police received a written complaint on Friday. Following which, police sent teams to the medical superintendent's house but he was found to be absconding. Police added that they have formed four teams to find the Medical Superintendent.
Confirming about the matter, a senior police officer said that on Friday, they received a written complaint from the CMO where in she stated that the MS used to call her in his room and used to pass lewd remarks and tried to touch her inappropriately.
In her statement to the police at the Jahangirpuri police station, the senior female doctor alleged that when she asked the MS not to indulge in such behavior, he threatened of ruining her career and ruining her reputation.
