Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday slammed OP Sharma, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislature from Vishwas Nagar Assembly constituency, for using highly objectionable and derogatory word against Amantullah Khan the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MlA from Okhla Assembly seat.
Kejriwal said that BJP MlA's words are designed to divide India on religious lines, however, Sharma clarified he did not require any certificate of patriotism from Kejriwal who had questioned the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army and also sided with students of JNU who raised anti-national slogans”.
“I used the term and will use it again. I used it in the context of him shouting down the voice of the Opposition. Is this not a kind of terrorismij” Sharma said.
