CM must apologise for his Ministers' behaviour: loP

leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta on Sunday demanded that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal must apologise on behalf of the Ministers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) who have “misbehaved” with the public.

He said Kejriwal must take responsibility of the “misdoings” of his party Ministers and demanded a public apology on behalf of AAP MlA Dinesh Mohaniya for allegedly misbehaving with a woman and slapping a 60-year-old man, and also on behalf of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for “adopting dictatorial attitude” on hearing the grievances of Gazipur Sabzi Mandi and for “intimidating and threatening” the businessmen.

“It is imperative for AAP to realise that criminal incidents must be seen in isolation to politics and public is the most important part in democracy. AAP came to power because of public support. But now, unfortunately, they are bearing the brunt as they are constantly tortured under their reign,” Gupta said.

He further said the AAP is merely interested in playing to the gallery rather than exercising their duties towards the people of Delhi.

“Instead of feeling ashamed and regretting their behaviour, 52 AAP legislators under the leadership of Manish Sisodia marched towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi on Sunday… They are covering up their criminal actions leaving the public astray. This incident proves that the Delhi Government does not believe in Constitution and maintaining law and order,” he added.
