CM misleading U’khand people on jobs: Cong

Published on:

Delhi Congress accused Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of misleading the people in Uttarakhand by claiming that his Government has provided 10 lakh jobs to the unemployed of Delhi.

Citing an RTI reply, Congress Delhi unit president Anil Kumar said that only 440 jobs has been generated in the last seven years. He asked what happened to the eight lakh jobs Arvind had promised in his election manifesto to the youth of Delhi that he would generate in five years?

Kumar said that Kejriwal has been touring Assembly poll-bound States like Uttarakhand and promising everything free, including unemployment allowance to youth and Rs 1000 monthly pension to women but the same is not implemented in Delhi.

He demanded the AAP Government to first fulfill the 10-point guarantee he promised to Delhiites.
