The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government "strongly condemned" the terrorist attack on the Amarnath Yatris in Jammu & Kashmir on Monday. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called the attack in which seven were killed in South Kashmir's Anantnag district a "cowardly act".

"Strongly condemn terror attack. A cowardly act," Kejriwal tweeted late Monday evening after the news reports about the attack started flashing across news channels.

The AAP also expressed condemnation against the terror attack from its official Twitter handle, which the Delhi Chief Minister and the AAP supreme endorsed.

"AAP strongly condemns the terror attack on the Amarnath Yatri Pilgrims and police convoy (sic)," tweeted the party.

Recently, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had visited Kashmir and extended a hand of friendship to the traders and businessmen of the valley.
