Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday slammed the Centre over calling Minister Satyendar Jain corrupt. He said the Centre has itself admitted in the court that Jain is not an “accused”.
Addressing the media, Kejriwal said the huge conspiracy against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders has been exposed as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) submitted in Delhi High Court that Jain is not an accused.
“The Centre has itself admitted in the court that Jain is not an 'accused', when he is not an accused then how can they call him corrupt?” Kejriwal said. Delhi CM also took it to Twitter and wrote, "Centre has itself admitted in the court that Satyendar Jain is not an 'accused'.
When he is not an accused then how can they call him corrupt? Manish Sisodia has revealed what corruption looks like. He has exposed large scale corruption of the BJP." Meanwhile, AAP senior leader and Rajya Sabha Member Sanjay Singh said the ED has itself admitted in the High Court that there is no complaint or FIR registered against Delhi Health Minister Jain.
BJP-controlled Centre’s ED is transforming into an institution that humiliates and imprisons opposition leaders. “Major corrupt business tycoons like Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi, Nitin Sandesara, and Yeddyurappa, Vyapam scamsters, and Eshwarappa are not prosecuted by the Modi government's ED, while opposition is baselessly targeted.
The BJP is envious because the Delhi government’s Mohalla Clinics are praised all over world, hence they had Health Minister jailed on a fake charge,” Singh concluded.
