It was a humid day in the national Capital even as the temperature settled at 36.4 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal, said a Meteorological (MeT) department official.
Some areas in the city received “traces” of rainfall, the weatherman said.
Humidity oscillated between 85 and 55 er cent.
The Met office has forecast generally cloudy sky with light rains likely to occur in some areas tomorrow.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 37 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum had settled at 27.5 degrees Celsius.
