The North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) has issued notices to all the chemical traders in the Walled city, directing them to close trades and shift chemical units to the integrated freight complex (IFC) in Narela before December 12.
In a notice issued by the NMC, it said that the High Court in its order titled ‘Society for Awareness and Development v/s Union of India and others has granted time to traders in Tilak Bazar, Khari Baoli and Sadr Bazar etc till Dec 12 to shift their units. The corporation would start sealing the premises of such units if they failed to shift their units before the deadline, said a senior NMC official.
