Delhi Jal Board (DJB) Vice Chairman Raghav Chadha lauded the efforts of employees of DJB for their sustained work during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure uninterrupted water supplies.
Chadha, in a video message released on Wednesday assured the employees of full support in their time of need. Calling them frontline warriors, he said that not only the Kejriwal government but all of Delhi and even the country is proud of their work.
The Vice Chairman also said, "Water is life, and every member of Delhi Jal Board ensured that this form of life reached every home of Delhi, even at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I cannot begin to tell you how indebted each of us in Delhi feel towards DJB in such a challenging time."
The Delhi government is taking every possible step to contain the further spread of the virus, whether by way of increasing the number of corona beds and ICU beds in private hospitals to aggressively campaigning towards making people aware of the real and present danger of the dreaded virus.
