The Ghaziabad civil court compound has been equipped with close circuit television (CCTV) cameras. The Ghaziabad district & sessions judge Anil Kumar Srivastava, on Thursday, inaugurated the launching of this scanning device installed at every sensitive part of each floor of the four-storied building complex.
“The installation of this latest device will help to keep the court compound safe of any crime incident. It will help the police administration to keep a vigil at the court compound where over 10,000 litigants come to attend the court dates related to their cases. It will further help the police in manning the court compound without engaging manpower,” said Circle Officer (CO) II Ran Vijay Singh under whose jurisdiction the court compound falls.
In total, 16 CCTV cameras have been installed whose lED screens have been displayed in the police post and district judge office, he said.
