Delhi girl M Gayatri, who topped Class XII CBSE-2015 examination on Monday, shared her success mantra with The Pioneer. The girl, who has found a role model in her mother, said success is a continuous process which demands focus and consistency.

Hailing from a middle-class family, Gayatri’s father, S Mohan, works as an assistant in Ministry of Rural Development and mother laxmi Mohan is a clerk in Central Bank of India (CBI).

The Mohans gave all credit to Gayatri’s hard work and her grounding. Gayatri wants to be a Chartered Accountant with a dream to become financially independent.

“We never force her into anything that don’t interest her,” said the proud parents.  “I learn beyond textbooks. I busy myself with newspapers and literature even though I am a number-crunching commerce student. I am very keen on classical music,” said Gayatri.

Her teachers laud her sincerity. “Gayatri’s ability to focus is superlative,” said Pooja Mathur, her Accounts teacher.
